Aging in Place Initiative

Aging in Place means different things to different people. For most, it's about the ability to choose to stay where you are as you get older and to have options that allow you to adapt to changes common with aging, such as health issues, mobility changes, housing needs and living on a fixed income. The Aging in Place initiative is an integral part of Mayor Becker's Livability Agenda, services offered as part of Aging in Place are transportation, housing, lifestyle, working and volunteering, and health are all integral parts of what makes a city livable.
