Salt Lake City Council to hold public hearing on proposed policy statement on future economic development of downtown

The Salt Lake City Council will hold a public hearing Tuesday on the City Council ’s proposed Policy Statement on the Future Economic Development of Downtown.

The hearing will be held Tuesday, December 3, at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chamber (Room 315) in the City & County Building , 451 South State Street . The hearing will be held as part of the City Council ’s regularly scheduled meeting for December 3.

The proposed policy statement is the result of several months of discussion among City Council Members on downtown Salt Lake City ’s vitality and future economic development.           As with the May 28 hearing, each person who wishes to speak about the City Council ’s proposed Policy Statement will be given two minutes to comment on the statement.

Copies of the proposed statement are available at the City Council ’s website, www.slcgov.com/council, or at the City Council office, Room 304, City & County Building , 451 South State Street .
