Salt Lake City Council considers building two new libraries, improving storm water infrastructure
The Salt Lake City Council will consider the adoption of the City's Fiscal Year 2009-10 Budget on Tuesday, June 16, at 7 p.m.
A potential property tax increase for Library operations and building, or planning for development of one or two branch libraries tops the list of items about which the Council invites comment.
Storm water infrastructure is proposed to be enhanced with resources from an increase of $1 per month on an average residential property in storm water fees effective January 1, 2010.
The Council invites public comment on all aspects of the budget at the Council meeting Tuesday or in advance through the methods listed at the bottom of this release.
