Recipients for the 2017 Mayor’s Artists Awards Announced

On Friday, June 23, the winners of the annual Mayor’s Artists Awards will be formally presented at the Utah Arts Festival. Established in 1992, the Mayor’s Artists Awards program recognizes significant accomplishments and contributions of individuals and organizations to the arts and cultural landscape of Utah. Each recipient will be introduced at the awards ceremony and receive a $500 prize.

“This year’s Award winners truly represent the rich diversity of artistic talent in our community. Whether in performance or visual art, service, or art education, each winner reflects how art can reach us on many different levels and enrich our lives,” said Mayor Jackie Biskupski.
