Vendor and Sponsorship Opportunities

***Available spaces are for events run by the Gallivan Center or by the Community Events Department of Salt Lake City. To apply for other events in the city, you must contact the event organizer directly.***

Applications are now available for 2012 Gallivan Center and SLC Events. Extreme Yard Sale booth space may be reserved online.  
 
To apply, first check out the available events and information, then download and submit the Application Form. Applications are due March 27, 2012.

Sponsorships

  • SLC Classic Volleyball
  • 4th of July Celebration
  • Monster Block Party
 
All events are open to exciting ideas and proposals - if you've got a proposal that will benefit the event, let's talk!

Background About the Signature Events Sponsorships

Mayor Becker and the Salt Lake City Council have established a Signature Events Fund within the City budget to provide a means whereby "Salt Lake City can sponsor and support major events in an equitable and transparent manner." Over the past three years, sponsorships have been awarded to multiple events in amounts ranging from $1,500 to $15,000 (see past sponsorships).
 
This fiscal year, $150,000 has been set aside for the program in three sponsorship tiers.  Recipients of Signature Events Fund were selected by the City's Signature Events Committee.  The 2012
 
The Signature Events Fund is intended to support the larger events that provide significant economic and/or cultural contributions to Salt Lake City, as well as smaller events that due to their nature and scope are unable to generate the needed revenue to cover their costs.
 
Considerations for sponsorship are based on the following general criteria: 1) public and community benefit; 2) economic impact; 3) cultural and civic contribution; 4) relationship to Salt Lake City's mission and goals; and 5) financial position and need.
