SALT LAKE CITY’S RDA AND ARTS COUNCIL LAUNCH MURAL GRANT PROGRAM FOR ARTISTS AND GRANARY PROPERTY OWNERS

SALT LAKE CITY – The Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City (RDA) announced today the official kick-off the Granary District Mural Grant Program, its latest public art collaboration with the Salt Lake City Arts Council. By funding local artists to paint large-scale artwork on the exterior of privately owned buildings in the RDA’s Granary District Project Area, the program will contribute to the beautification, diversification and economic vitality of the historic Granary neighborhood that was once known as the City’s heart of manufacturing.
