Salt Lake City seeks public comment on proposed 2017-18 projects to be funded with Federal Dollars

On Tuesday, March 7, at 7:00pm, Mayor Jackie Biskupski will formally present to the Salt Lake City Council her recommendations for projects to be undertaken in 2017-18 utilizing federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Neighborhood Development (HUD). These programs include:

 

 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

 

Salt Lake City division of Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND) releases new Impact Fee draft plan for public review and comment

Salt Lake City’s division of Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND) will discuss a new draft plan for how Impact Fees are collected by Salt Lake City, at developer and public forums on Tuesday, September 20th and Thursday, September 22nd. The draft plan was completed by a contracted financial consultant, and will seek to replace the current Impact Fee Facilities Plan adopted in 2012.
