More than 60 people spoke at a public hearing about proposed changes to the City's ground transportation regulations, which apply to taxis, limos, shuttles and ride sharing services. Snow Removal

Fiscal year 2014-2015 Budget

As part of its budget discussions, the Council preliminarily restored funding for summer fireworks shows – contingent upon good air quality. The $40,000 budget, which has funded fireworks shows at Liberty Park, Sugar House and Jordan Park in the past, had been cut from Mayor Becker’s proposed budget. The Council unanimously supported the restoration, contingent upon the air quality on the day of the scheduled shows.
