Welcome to YouthCity

YouthCity fosters positive youth development in Salt Lake City, by providing out of school opportunities for social, emotional, skills, character, and citizenship development in an inclusive and caring environment.
 
YouthCity serves Salt Lake City's young people ages 9-18 with innovative and enriching activities created with input from participants. The programs are located throughout Salt Lake City, where young people can have fun while learning new skills. YouthCity currently provides teen, after-school and summer, arts, employment, sports, government and service learning programming.

YouthCity Summer Program 2013

What: A summer program with fun classes, field trips, and community service projects that kids learn from and enjoy!

Transportation: Program participants may be dropped off and picked up, or may walk to and from the program.

Fees: Fees are based on a sliding scale according to family size and income.

YouthCity Summer Teen Apprenticeship Program 2013

This summer the YouthCity Teen Program will roll out their second year of their hugely successful summer internship program. These internships are being offered through the Mayor’s Office, and will take place at various city departments, including YouthCity. Teen interns earn a stipend at the end of each session. All are encouraged to apply. Please note on your application which placements you are applying for.
