Get Involved
One of the keystones of our representative democracy is the goal of reflecting and incorporating the interests, needs and desires of its constituents in public policy.
Actively engaging in the civic process is one of the best means of insuring that your most important issues are addressed by City government.
At Salt Lake City, that engagement is encouraged, celebrated and offered through community councils, City commissions and constituent boards that work with Mayor Ralph Becker, other elected officials and City departments. These entities help develop policy, implement change and make sure all voices are reflected in City Hall.
Representation happens in many ways and in many places, but it all starts in the same place - with YOU.
